SP Jain Institute of Management & Research (SPJIMR) has seen a 5.8 per cent rise in the average salaries for the class of 2015. Compared to the average salary of Rs 17.2 lakh last year, the average salary increased to Rs 18.2 lakh.
This year, 48 per cent of the class of 2015 received pre-placement offers and pre-placement interviews through their autumns internships at top corporate houses, some of which included Amazon, Asian Paints, Axis Bank, Colgate-Palmolive, Dell, Flipkart, HUL, Mondelez, Mahindra & Mahindra, Marico, Microsoft, P&G and TAS.
Beating the market blues, final placements at the S P Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR) saw a marginal increase in average salary from Rs 17.2 lakh last year to Rs 18.2 lakh.Over 200 students were placed in companies including Amazon, TAS, Microsoft, HUL, P&G, Asian Paints, Mondelez, Colgate Palmolive, Dell, Citibank, General Electric, Flipkart, GSK and HSBC.

Placement season 2015 at SPJIMR witnessed 78 companies queuing up to hire participants from the Class of 2015.

SP Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR) is setting up a centre for big data in marketing in collaboration with the University of Michigan.
The centre will serve as a platform for collection and dissemination of knowledge of big data to students and corporates. It will also have a training programme for companies on how to use big data. Experts from industry and global universities will offer their services. Vashi: A team of four faculties of Neynrode Business University (NBU), Netherlands, visited the satellite city on Monday to know more about the family-run businesses across India.
They interacted with the entrepreneurs from real estate and also visited project sites to understand the work culture and standard of technologies that are used in India.
S.P Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR), has released the shortlist of MBA admissions to 2015-17 academic year. Earlier, SPJIMR had announced the eligibility criteria for its management programs. The institute has considered the CAT, XAT and GMAT scores for admission to its management programmes.
