Vaartalaap with IBM’s Sankalp Sinha

SPJIMR Alumni Relations Committee and Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM) hosted an immersive Vaartalaap session featuring our alumnus, Mr. Sankalp Sinha, General Manager at IBM. The session focused on the post-PGPM career growth trajectory for PGPM participants.
The speaker provided valuable insights, covering topics such as career options, debunking myths about placements, the significance of adaptability, an exercise on thinking out of the box, maximising the learnings and leveraging the opportunities offered by the PGPM programme at SPJIMR, and the importance of peer learning and elective selection aligned with individual goals.
PGPM 2024 participants actively participated and interacted with Mr Sinha, gleaning a deeper understanding of their PGPM journey, resonating with the objective of Vaartalaap. Vaartalaap is organised regularly throughout the academic year to enable our participants to excel in their academic and professional endeavours.
SPJIMR’s Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM) is an 18-month AICTE-approved programme, ideal for working executives. The programme commences with an online module for two months, an on-campus residential module for 12 months, and four months of Industry and International Immersion. The programme is designed as a career accelerator for candidates with at least three years of work experience and strong domain knowledge to move to expansive roles in general management.
