The FT Masters in Management (MiM) Rankings highlight full-time master’s programmes from business schools around the world that are accredited by AACSB or EQUIS. The criteria for the FT MiM Ranking include alumni career progress, school diversity, international experience, and research, amongst other parameters. In the FT MiM 2024 Ranking, for the second consecutive year, SPJIMR stands out as the top-ranking Indian B-school, securing the 35th spot globally. It was ranked seventh globally in the ‘Careers Service’ category.
SPJIMR was recognised for its social impact and sustainability achievements in the Positive Impact Rating (PIR) results at the UN PRME Global Forum. SPJIMR was one of 77 business schools from 30 countries worldwide that took part in the rating this year and achieved Level 5, making it a ‘Pioneering’ school within the PIR. This is the fourth successive year that SPJIMR has received this recognition.
PIR is a Swiss association, that governs these ratings. It was initiated by a group of concerned business school experts and founded by the endorsers WWF, Oxfam International and the UNGC Switzerland, with the active support of the funders VIVA Idea and The Institute for Business Sustainability (IBS). Level 5 is defined as “Showing unique sustainable leadership in all impact dimensions” and is based on the assessment of the seven key impact dimensions—Governance, Culture, Programs, Learning Methods, Student Support, Institution as a Role Model and Public Engagement.
The factors considered include the quality of education, infrastructure, placements, feedback from students and teachers, and other parameters.
The India Today Group MDRA Best Business Schools Survey evaluates institutions on key parameters such as academic rigour, faculty expertise, industry engagement and technological innovation.
This ranking recognises SPJIMR’s strengths across key parameters, including infrastructure, accreditations, student diversity, teaching excellence, placements, and alumni impact.
The factors considered for the survey include admission attractiveness, age and brand appeal, placement and ROI, pedagogy and infrastructure and industry connect.
The factors considered are infrastructure, intellectual resources such as faculty, academic programmes & processes, quality of students admitted, placements, industry exposure and extra-curricular activities.
The factors considered are input such as quality and profile of students admitted; processes like teaching, learning processes adopted, accreditation etc.; output such as placements, entrepreneurship etc.
