SPJIMR participant Karanvir Singh Bains from the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM), Class of 2022-24 has been awarded the OPJEMS Engineering Management Scholarship for 2023. Recognised for exceptional academic performance, leadership, and community service, he secured a position amongst the top 20 management scholars in the country. In a challenging competition among India’s top 20 management institutions, his journey from the top 400 to the top 20 is commendable. The scholarship, which is not just an honour, includes a 1.5 lakh rupees award for tuition costs. Representing SPJIMR amongst talent from premier pan India B-Schools, Karanvir embodies the values of O.P. Jindal Engineering and Management Scholarships and SPJIMR, i.e. fostering leaders in entrepreneurial excellence and innovation.
Highly talented Asmi Jain, from the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM), Class of 2023-2025, achieved the national title in the TATA Imagination Challenge’s fourth edition. This year, the Tata Imagination Challenge witnessed a record 2.63 lakh registrations from 10,000+ colleges globally. Asmi resolutely navigated four challenging rounds, securing second place in the Tata Popular Choice Awards. She was applauded for her vision of reshaping agriculture through data analytics and stakeholder management. It aligns well with SPJIMR’s Northstar: Advancing wise innovation. Prashant Iyer, Aashay Shah, Krishna Budholia & Hrishikesh Padhye from SPJIMR’s PGDM & PGDM (BM) class of 2023-25, emerged winners at the ISB Hyderabad’s Advaita 2023 – Fresh Connection (Supply Chain Simulation) Powered by ValueQwest & Inchainge. The competition involved an exciting Supply Chain simulation game providing participants an opportunity to tackle an end-to-end supply chain challenge drawn from real-world experiences, allowing them to demonstrate their mettle and domain expertise. Team The Flash comprising of Prashant, Aashay, Krishna & Hrishikesh is now eligible to participate in the Global Student Challenge held by ValueQwest Pte Ltd., a Singapore-based premier supply chain consulting and advisory company and Inchainge BV, Netherlands.
Chirag Kedia and Aditya Jain from SPJIMR’s PGDM & PGDM(BM) class of 2023-25, emerged National Runners-up at Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad’s (IIMA) flagship event Tradecraft in their Red Brick Summit. The case study competition was based on analysing the implications of current sustainability policies on a country’s economy and the global economy. It also involved crafting emissions reduction and sustainability policy recommendations and solutions to balance environmental responsibility with sustainable economic growth. This was followed by the final simulation round.
