The Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Business Management) (PGDM (BM)) is a two-year, full-time residential programme approved by AICTE.
On successful completion of the programme, participants are awarded the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Business Management).
The PGDM (BM) programme provides participants with a holistic understanding of all key functional areas, enabling them to make effective business decisions across multiple functions.
The programme combines classroom learning with non-classroom experiential learning through:
This broad management perspective also provides participants with greater flexibility during the placement process by preparing them for a wide range of roles.
While PGDM programme offers a specialisation focus, PGDM (BM) focuses on developing broad general management capabilities.
Participants study general management in greater depth while also having the flexibility to choose a minor specialisation and electives aligned with their interests and career goals.
Like PGDM participants, PGDM (BM) participants undertake a Summer Internship and are eligible to participate in campus placements offered to participants across SPJIMR’s two-year, full-time programmes.
The programme fee for Indian participants is ₹24,86,000*.
The fee includes tuition fees and basic hostel accommodation.

No. CAT entrance test scores for exams taken in the same year as submitting the application form are accepted. For example, a candidate applying for the 2027- 29 PGDM admission intake can submit an application form between September and November 2026, and also provide the CAT score for the CAT exam conducted in November 2026.
Yes.
You may submit your application before your CAT or GMAT results are declared. However, you must enter your examination registration number correctly while completing the application.
Once results are announced, applicants will be able to update their entrance examination scores through the application portal.

Applicants are not required to choose a specialisation while applying for the PGDM (BM) programme.
Work experience is not mandatory. Both recent graduates and applicants with up to five years of work experience are eligible to apply.
While relevant work experience is considered during the shortlisting process, it is one of several factors considered during the overall evaluation.
