Our Career Services team works to match participants’ career aspirations with market expectations to offer them relevant placement opportunities. Financial Times Masters in Management, FT (MiM) 2024 Ranking ranked SPJIMR #7 globally in the ‘Careers Service’ category, demonstrating its excellence in supporting student placements and facilitating exceptional career opportunities for graduates. The PGDM-BM cohort benefits from SPJIMR’s placement process and extensive list of top recruiters. In addition PGDM (BM) with its general management focus offers recruiters a larger and more diverse pool to choose from when visiting campus to hire from the two-year full-time programmes.
The placement process happens in two hiring cycles:
The Corporate Autumn/Summer Internship is a mandatory credit component of the Post Graduate Diploma in Management course. The current Class 2023-25 participants will see the last Autumns Internship. Starting the Class of 2024-26, students will be available for Summer Internships (Please refer to the placement timeline table).
Pre-Placement Offer (PPO): 40-50% of the batch gets placed through the Internships and Corporate competitions route (PPOs), much ahead of the final placement process. Students with PPO are signed out from the next hiring cycle.
Pre placement talks start 45 days ahead of the placement week in the month of November
