Eight case studies authored by SPJIMR faculty and alumni have featured in Ivey Publishing’s Bestsellers 2025–2026 list, with SPJIMR securing the top-selling case position in two disciplines. Further underscoring the enduring relevance of its scholarship, three faculty-authored cases were also included in the Ivey Classics 2016–2026 list, which recognises the most widely used teaching cases of the past decade.
Ivey Publishing’s annual bestsellers rankings recognise the most widely adopted teaching cases from its global collection across 15 disciplines. This year, SPJIMR faculty- and alumni-authored cases featured across six disciplines, reflecting the institute’s continued contribution to case-based management education worldwide.
In Communications, ‘Is that an order?’, authored by Prof. Vineeta Dwivedi and Prof. Tulsi Jayakumar, secured the #1 position. The case examines the role of emotional intelligence in interpersonal communication and highlights the importance of effective communication in diverse and multilingual workplace settings.
In Marketing, ‘Snaqary Snacks: Building a start-up brand’, co-authored by Prof. Ashita Aggarwal and Suraj Commuri (PGDM 1991 alum), ranked #1. The case follows two bootstrapped women entrepreneurs as they navigate a competitive marketplace and make critical decisions with incomplete information, making it relevant across cultures and classroom contexts.

The Ivey Classics 2016–2026 list recognises the 25 most-used teaching cases of the past decade across disciplines, including general management, strategy, leadership, marketing, and finance. This year, ‘Evoe Spring Spa: A positioning dilemma’, authored by Prof. Ashita Aggarwal and Prof. Renuka Kamath with co-author Sunil Rao, joined the list for the first time.
