PGDM placement and career services

For more than 20 years, PGDM has held an impeccable record of securing 100% placements. Our Career Services team works to align participants’ career aspirations with market expectations, offering them relevant placement opportunities. In the Financial Times Masters in Management (FT MiM) 2026 ranking, SPJIMR ranks #1 in India and #2 globally for Careers Service, highlighting its excellence in student placements and its strong track record in enabling exceptional career opportunities for graduates.

Placements process

The placement process happens in two hiring cycles:

Internship placement process
Final placement process

The corporate summer internship is a mandatory credit component of the Post Graduate Diploma in Management course. Please refer to the placement timeline table below.

Pre-placement Offers (PPOs): 40-50% of the batch gets placed through internships and corporate competitions (PPOs), much ahead of the final placement process. Students with PPO are excluded from the next hiring cycle.

Pre-placement talks start 45 days before the placement week in November.

Placement week/interviews are tentatively scheduled for mid-December.
