The SPJIMR campus was lit with excitement as the cultural fest, SParkle, unfolded on July 7, 2023. With its theme “Retro to Recent”, the event presented a nostalgic journey through time, celebrating various aspects of literature, art, music, and dance. The days preceding the event witnessed pre-event activities organised in collaboration with the Tasveer Club at SPJIMR. It included a photography contest, “Monsoons in Mumbai”, and a live pottery painting competition with the theme “Two sides of a coin”. These vibrant activities culminated in the grand evening lit with amazing dance and musical performances, poetry recitals, and a ramp walk, amongst other things.
The cultural performances witnessed enthusiastic participation by SPJIMR participants, faculty and staff with over 350 attendees. SPJIMR professors Debmallya Chatterjee and Nilendra Singh Pawar joined the PGPM student band on stage and captivated the audience with their performances. It also highlighted the unique bond shared by our students and faculty members. This was followed by energetic dance performances and a thematic ramp walk presenting vintage fashion statements to futuristic themes leaving the attendees with an unforgettable experience.
