LiFE is a programme for women in family businesses only, whereas general women entrepreneurship programmes cater to women from varied backgrounds. It’s a skill development programme for women from business families seeking to take functional roles in their family business or be a women entrepreneur.

No, as the programme is conducted on campus, there are no online sessions available for the participants.

It is a 4-month programme where 3 weeks of general management concepts are conducted, followed by 1 week of elective and a final business plan presentation in the 6th week.

The programme offers a certificate of completion. More importantly, it allows women from business families to build their own individual networks, which they may tap to start their own enterprises. It also allows her to gain functional specialisation and contribute to her family business.

The objective of the LiFE programme is to empower women of family business backgrounds and prepare them to lead their businesses. Therefore no placement services are offered.

The campus is located in the heart of Mumbai, in Andheri (W), close to the Western Express Highway and international and domestic airports. It is easily accessible by various local transport systems, including local trains, metro, BEST buses, cabs, autorickshaws, etc.

The women desirous of joining the programme should be from a family business background. Also the applicant should hold an undergraduate degree and should be 30yrs+ of age.

Yes, the programme offers hostel facilities. The participants can avail the same on an availability basis.

The programme does not allow deferment of admission from one batch to another under any circumstances for any reason. As the programme is conducted in an on-campus format and involves intensive learning, applicants are encouraged to be fully committed and participate in the enrolled batch.
