Introduction
SPJIMR has launched a two-year full-time Post Graduate Diploma in Management with a General Management focus. This new programme called PGDM Business Management (BM) and will admit only 60 students. It is AICTE approved and is built on identical pillars as the current flagship PGDM programme.
PGDM (BM) will help students develop an overview of all functional areas in a holistic manner giving them the unique flexibility to choose a preferred mix of courses depending on their career goals. The course architecture will help participants excel in business decision-making that has an impact spanning multiple departments. They would receive cutting-edge management education along with horizon-expanding experiences that will accelerate their growth as innovative leaders.
Apart from state-of-the-art courses in Business Management and corporate internships, PGDM-BM participants will undergo social internships in rural India as part of Development of Corporate Citizenship (DoCC), immersive global fast track at international B-schools, Abhudaya - mentoring underprivileged children. They will participate in Science of Spirituality (SoS) exercises in their journey towards self-mastery and develop a “maker-innovator” mindset in a multi-term laboratory-based design thinking and innovation journey to create solutions to real-world problems. In addition, they will attend the Personal Growth Lab (PG Lab) to stimulate self-awareness and start working in their chosen Assessment and Development of Managerial and Administrative Potential (ADMAP) committees.
The PGDM-BM cohort will be part of SPJIMR’s placement process and benefit from the extensive list of top recruiters. With this new cohort joining the SPJIMR community, recruiters will have a larger and more diverse pool to choose from when visiting campus to hire from the two-year full-time programmes.

- Foundation module

Programme Structure or details
YEAR 1
The first year curriculum aims at strengthening fundamentals of all areas of business and provides a holistic perspective of business management.
The participants also develop managerial knowledge & skills through various Non-Classroom Learning initiatives (NCLs) and social internship
YEAR 2
The second-year curriculum provides inputs in various functional areas in a balanced manner, corporate internship and Global Fast Track (GFT) programme at a globally top-ranked B-School.
Elective courses are offered, in order to assist students to make further choices in expanding their knowledge.
Eligibility criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% of marks or equivalent CGPA in any discipline from a recognised university.
- CAT and GMAT entrance scores are accepted
Fresh graduates and those with up to 5 years of work experience can apply.

Application Process
To apply for the PGDM (BM) 2023-25 intake, aspirants must fill the online application form which will be available from 30th September 2022 until 25th November 2022.
The application processing fee is Rs. 2000 (*This is subject to revision).
Selection Process
Shortlisted candidates will be informed with further details on the interview process. Meeting the qualifying scores in at least one of the entrance exams is a mandatory requirement.

Programme Fee
Domestic
The fee for the PGDM (BM) batch 2022-2024 is Rs.20.75 lakhs.* This fee includes tuition fees, basic hostel/accommodation and Global Fast Track. It does not include cost of travel, boarding, lodging, visa, insurance and incidentals for the Global Fast Track.

Financial Assistance
Merit cum - Means Based Financial Assistance - The institute offers financial assistance to needy participants of the first year and second year based on assessment of need, academic performance, extra-curricular activities and conduct. The financial assistance will be in the form of reimbursement of the tuition component of the PGDM(BM) fee structure
Merit Based Scholarship will be applicable to second year participants depending upon their performance in the first year.
A panel will evaluate the financial need of the participant, as well as establish the genuineness of the details provided. Based on the evaluations of the panel, applicants are provided partial or full financial assistance.
Scholarships
Merit Based Scholarship - Participants who are selected for International Exchange and who fulfill certain criteria, will be eligible for a scholarship towards meeting expenses as exchange participants in a partner B-School of international repute. The scholarship will be in the form of reimbursement for expenses related to return travel from India to the international B-School, visa and insurance fees and lodging during the course work. The scholarship amount will be based on actuals up to a limit of INR 2 lakhs, which will be disbursed after the Institute receives the grades from the partner schools.

A) PROGRAMME OVERVIEW
SPJIMR's PGDM (Business Management) is an AICTE approved two-year, full-time residential programme. Fresh graduates and those with up to 5 years of work experience can apply.
To be eligible, applicants should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent (10+2+3) from a recognized university. The applicants are required to have scored a minimum of 50 percent or equivalent CGPA in their graduation. PGDM (BM) Programme accepts the entrance exam scores of CAT and GMAT. SPJIMR's PGDM (Business Management) is a two-year, full-time residential programme. On successful completion of the programme, the participants will be awarded PGDM (Business Management). Similar to the PGDM, PGDM (BM) is also AICTE approved. SPJIMR is in the league of top global B-schools who are accredited by the international AACSB. AACSB Accreditation recognizes institutions that have demonstrated a focus on excellence in all areas, including teaching, research, curriculum development, and student learning.
Students of the PGDM (BM) programme will develop an overview of all functional areas in a holistic manner. This will help participants excel in business decision making that has an impact spanning multiple departments. Apart from a host of pioneering non-classroom learning initiatives, they get exposed to how businesses operate internationally through the international immersion which includes multiple industrial visits and live projects. The course structure includes case studies, simulations, and role-plays for experiential student learning.
The knowledge of the functional areas will also give them the flexibility to diversify their options in the placement process.
While PGDM has a specialisation focus, PGDM (BM) offers candidates flexibility to pursue General Management courses in depth with an option to choose minor specialisation and electives of their interest.
PGDM(BM) participants will go for their Autumn internships, similar to the PGDM participants. Participants of both 2-year programs will be available to companies participating in campus recruitment.
Both PGDM and PGDM (BM) are programmes in the Mumbai Campus. Faculty teach both programmes. Classes will be conducted together for common courses / electives.
The fee for the PGDM (BM) batch 2022-2024 is Rs.20.42 lakhs. This fee includes tuition fees, basic hostel/accommodation and Global Fast Track. It does not include cost of travel, boarding, lodging, visa, insurance and incidentals for the Global Fast Track. This fee is subject to revision.
The intake of the PGDM (BM) programme is 60 (for Indian Nationals only).
PGDM (BM) is a two-year full-time residential programme for all students. All students will reside on campus.
There is no provision for special housing for married students. SPJIMR provides shared hostel accommodation for students for the duration of the course. Staying in the hostel is compulsory for all candidates.
The 2023-2025 batch for the PGDM (BM) programme is scheduled to commence tentatively by the last week of June 2023

The last date to submit the form is 25th November 2022. However, strongly recommend you submit the application well in time to avoid any last-minute technical glitches that may happen due to website overload.
You will not be required to choose an area of specialization. Work experience is not mandatory for the PGDM (BM) programme. While the shortlisting process will take into account your past work experience, both freshers as well as applicants with less than 5 years can apply to the programme.
PGDM (BM) programme accepts CAT and GMAT scores. The applicants are required to meet the minimum overall cut off as well as the sectional cutoff in at least one of the entrance exams (CAT/GMAT).

It is mandatory to submit the GMAT score through GMAC. To send the GMAT official scores, you can search by the PGDM (BM) Programme code 6DQ-MJ-68 or search by “S.P. Jain Institute of Management and Research - PGDM (Business Management)”.
The last date for taking the GMAT entrance test is 31st December 2022 for the admission cycle of PGDM (BM) 2023-25.
You will be prompted to pay the application fees of 2000 INR in the last section of the application form. You can pay the application fees online in the following ways through the admission portal:

Many banks/financial institutions provide loans based on the offer letter given by SPJIMR. Please contact the bank officials for more details on the terms and conditions.
The institute offers financial assistance to candidates based on an assessment of merit cum need. A form will need to be completed and submitted to the programme office. Any financial assistance will be made available (subject to approval) only once the programme commences.
