The Global Management Programme (GMP) is designed for participants aspiring to build global careers.
Participants study at SPJIMR, Mumbai, for six months before progressing to a leading international partner business school in Europe, the United Kingdom, the United States or Canada to complete their degree.
The programme prepares participants with global business perspectives, cross-cultural management capabilities, and leadership skills required to succeed in international organisations.
Upon successful completion of the programme, participants are awarded an MBA or MS degree by the international partner school.
The duration of the programme at the international partner school varies between 12 and 24 months, depending on the partner institution and degree selected.

Participants are required to reside on the SPJIMR campus during the six-month residential component before moving to their respective international partner schools.

Following two interview rounds—one with SPJIMR and, where applicable, another by the partner school—selected applicants receive an offer confirming their partner school and specialisation.

GMP counsellors provide personalised guidance to help participants select the partner school and specialisation that best align with their academic background, career aspirations, and professional goals.
Upon completing the six-month programme at SPJIMR, participants receive a GMP Certificate from SPJIMR.
After successfully completing the remaining academic requirements at the international partner school, participants are awarded the MBA or MS degree by that institution.
