Sarita’s career has spanned leadership roles in several global organisations, where she has helped shape policy, strategy, and public affairs across various sectors.

Previously, Sarita held significant roles at Bayer, where she served as the Director of Bayer Foundation India and Country Group Head – South Asia, Communications and Public Affairs. In these capacities, she spearheaded numerous healthcare, agriculture, and corporate responsibility initiatives while also advocating for sustainable business models and cross-functional partnerships. Her tenure at Pfizer India as Director of Public Affairs saw her lead policy and government affairs efforts, shaping the pharmaceutical landscape in India through strategic relationships with key stakeholders and media.

Sarita has also led corporate social responsibility agendas as Vice President and Head, Group CSO at Multicommodity Exchange of India, setting up the company’s sustainability strategies. Her earlier experience includes notable positions at Monsanto and Steel Authority of India Limited, adding depth to her understanding of diverse industries.

Sarita is deeply involved in mentoring and coaching, offering her insights to emerging businesses through organisations like the Kerala Startup Mission. She is a credentialed coach and mentor from the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC).
