SPJIMR recently concluded the inaugural edition of its annual sports event, Play Fest 2026. The event was designed to offer SPJIMR employees a well-deserved break from their intensive daily schedules. By participating in a wide array of sports and fun activities, the SPJIMR community embraced the opportunity to showcase their best game. Employees did not merely observe; they actively participated in multiple games and competitions, bringing a high level of spirit to every single match. Whether competing on the pitch or cheering from the sidelines, the collective enthusiasm of the SPJIMR community made each day of the fest a memorable experience.
This high level of active involvement highlights the community’s commitment to maintaining a healthy balance between professional excellence and personal well-being. A particularly stand-out feature of Play Fest 2026 was the emphasis on cross-functional collaboration. The event encouraged employees from entirely different departments to join forces and form teams, leading to genuine bonding and enhanced camaraderie. Seeing colleagues who might rarely interact during the standard working day come together to strategise and compete was truly heartening. This display of healthy competition, mutual encouragement, and teamwork was not just about the games. It beautifully reflected SPJIMR’s core values.
We take great pride in congratulating the winners of all the events conducted throughout the fest. Their performances were characterised by incredible teamwork and a level of sportsmanship that inspired all participants. These individuals and teams demonstrated that while winning is a rewarding outcome, the true value of the fest lies in the effort and the spirit of the game. We also extend our sincere gratitude to every participant and the dedicated support teams who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that Play Fest was a resounding success.
The success of this inaugural event sets a promising tone for the years ahead. By fostering engagement and togetherness, Play Fest 2026 has successfully laid the groundwork for a stronger, more connected SPJIMR community. As this annual event evolves, it will undoubtedly continue to serve as a cornerstone for promoting employee wellness and togetherness across the entire institution. Through such initiatives, SPJIMR reaffirms its dedication to its people, ensuring that the spirit of collaboration remains at the heart of our community.
