Sunil Bhatia Start-up Hub
The Sunil Bhatia Start-up Hub (SBSH) was established through the generous endowment of Sunil Bhatia, PGDM 1989 alum and former CEO of Infogain. The hub is dedicated to nurturing grassroots entrepreneurship across India by providing early-stage entrepreneurs with the knowledge, resources, and networks necessary to build and scale successful businesses.
In collaboration with incubators and other start-up networks across the country, SBSH organises pitchathons, bootcamps, masterclasses, and networking mixers to help entrepreneurs refine their storytelling, enhance business models, and achieve better problem-solution fit. SBSH supports various start-up initiatives and programmes, creating a robust community of founders, mentors, investors, corporates, and enablers within the start-up ecosystem.
Accelerators
We run high-impact accelerator programmes designed to help founders gain the one thing most early-stage ventures lack—clarity. Our focus is on start-ups with an operational MVP and early traction, where the biggest questions are around refining the model, sharpening the story, and preparing for scale.
Powered by ‘Clarity-10 framework,’ these programmes deliver diagnostics-led, hands-on support through a combination of detailed pitch teardowns, Deep-Dive workshops, and focused mentorship. Backed by an endowment from Sunil Bhatia, the accelerator is cost-free and equity-free, enabling founders to concentrate fully on building their ventures without early ownership dilution.
We run two cohorts annually—a winter cohort (January – March) and a monsoon cohort (July – September)—with a highly selective intake of up to 10–15 start-ups per batch. Start-ups benefit from over 30 hours of intensive workshops, multiple one-on-one pitch teardown rounds with diagnostic reports, and sustained engagement from sectoral mentors and SPJIMR’s analyst pool.
