Joy of Giving Week 2026 surpasses its contribution goals

The HR team, in collaboration with Development of Corporate Citizenship (DoCC), organised Joy of Giving Week 2026 at S.P. Jain Institute of Management & Research (SPJIMR) from 1st October to 15th October 2026. This annual initiative brought together the entire SPJIMR community to contribute towards meaningful causes.

This year, the community supported two NGOs. Radhika Old Age Home, founded in 2016, cares for 105 elders across two centres in the Thane district. Aawhan Palak Sangh, a parents’ organisation established in 1990, supports 18 special children aged 18 and above with intellectual and developmental disabilities through skill-based activities and a monthly stipend.

For the first time, SPJIMR surpassed its originally planned contribution goals, thanks to the collective effort of employees and students.

Several employees shared that amid busy lives, giving back to society often takes a back seat. For many, Joy of Giving Week is now an occasion they look forward to each year, a chance to pause, contribute and make a difference in someone else’s life. The initiative has gradually become a cherished tradition at SPJIMR.
