SPJIMR welcomes PGPFMB batch 36

On 23rd September 2024, SPJIMR inaugurated batch 36 of its Post Graduate Programme in Family Managed Business (PGPFMB). The new cohort consisted of 111 talented participants from across India and Nepal, representing a wide range of family business sectors, including manufacturing, retail, real estate, and services such as agriculture, healthcare, FMCG, textiles, construction, hospitality, financial services, iron and steel, pharmaceutical products, paper products, and many others. The diverse group also included professionals like doctors, lawyers, and chartered accountants.

During his welcome speech, the Chief Guest, Mr. Gautam Saraogi, Managing Director and CEO of Go Colors, Go Fashion India Pvt. Ltd., addressed the inaugural batch. He shared his personal journey of stepping out of his comfort zone and reflected on the lessons from his first failure in life. Emphasising his belief that “Change is the only constant,” he highlighted the importance of reinvention and continuous innovation for sustained growth.

Following the inauguration, a knowledge session for mentors was conducted by Prof. Tulsi Jayakumar, Executive Director CFBE and Programme Chair of PGPFMB. The event concluded with an engaging ice-breaking session, fostering a sense of camaraderie among the members of Batch 36, and setting the stage for a collaborative and enriching learning experience.

The Post Graduate Programme in Family Managed Business (PGPFMB) offers a transformative experience designed to groom the next generation of family business leaders.
