A new cohort of young family business scions started their Post Graduate Programme in Family Managed Business (PGPFMB) journey amidst an eventful inauguration ceremony at SPJIMR Mumbai. The FMB Batch 33 comprises a diverse group of participants from varied sectors, including manufacturing, real estate, retail, and service industries across 11 states. The ceremony commenced with a traditional lamp-lighting followed by a welcome address by Prof. Tulsi Jayakumar, Executive Director, Centre for Family Managed Business Excellence (CFBE). The event’s Chief Guest, Mr. Anshul Agarwal, Partner & Director at Mysore Deep Perfumery House, delivered a thought-provoking speech emphasising the importance of strong systems, data, communication and investment for family businesses.

The day’s activities also included an interactive ice-breaker session and a mentor knowledge session on fundraising. SPJIMR wishes the PGPFMB 33 batch all the best for their SPJIMR journey!
