SPJIMR faculty, students and staff gathered together on Zoom to celebrate the institute’s first ever virtual Teachers Day event on India’s National Teachers’ Day on 5th September. The event was organized by current SPJIMR participants across programmes.
The event had several outstanding performances which saw the enthusiastic participation of both students and teachers. The tables were reversed with students setting the teachers a surprise quiz on the most common dialogues said by various SPJIMR professors. Each question was followed by a pre-recorded rendition of a song by an SPJIMR Professor.
There was a collaborative pre-recorded dance performance by students and professors which stole the show and there were repeated demands for an encore which was granted.
The occasion also had a song and acting video production by SPJIMR’s official music club, B Major, which gave a glimpse of a day in the life of SPJIMR students and faculty in these times of online classes! Check it out here
The event ended with a tribute of video messages by participants across programmes displaying their gratitude to their teachers.
