SPJIMR’s Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM) hosted its annual business-academia conclave, Samavesh on September 7, 2019, at the SPJIMR auditorium. The theme for, this year was, ‘Impact of AI on driving business innovations’.
The conclave had Business Leaders share insights on the application of Artificial Intelligence to drive business innovation and help create a more sustainable and inclusive world.
Charmaine Lewis-Wali, Head, Modern Workplace for the Unicorn and Retail & Growth Verticals, Microsoft Corporation India Pvt. Ltd., spoke on how Microsoft is leveraging cutting-edge AI to enable people with disabilities to lead independent lives.
Dale Vaz, Head of Engineering & Data Science, Swiggy, discussed using Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to innovate the logistical processes at Swiggy.
Rohit Pandharkar, Head, Data Science and AI at the Group Strategy Office, Mahindra Rise, spoke on the Mahindra Group’s transformation into an innovation-led, data-driven organization.
Samavesh 2019 also featured brilliant presentations on Artificial Intelligence from Monarch Himanshu, Anugya Srivastava, Akshata Nayak, and Suraj Chakraborty.
