The participants of batch 35 from the Post Graduate Programme in Family Managed Business (PGPFMB) undertook a nine-day immersion programme at Polimi Graduate School of Management, Milan, Italy. This programme combined meticulously curated sessions focusing on key areas such as family business governance, strategic entrepreneurship, digital transformation, and more. Mornings were dedicated to insightful academic sessions, while afternoons involved practical group work to reinforce learning. Leading faculty members from the global family business domain facilitated these sessions, enhancing the participants’ educational experience.

The immersion included an industry visit to Persico Group, an esteemed Italian multinational established in 1976. Specialising in the automotive, roto moulding, and marine industries, Persico operates from its headquarters and primary production facilities in Italy, with key production and sales units in the USA, Mexico, Germany, and China. This visit provided participants with a hands-on understanding of advanced industrial practices, nurturing their development into business leaders with a global perspective.

Additionally, a roundtable meeting facilitated interactions between participants, partner business school alumni, and Italian entrepreneurs, creating invaluable opportunities for international networking.
