Rajdeep Sharma

Assistant Professor, Finance and Economics

Rajdeep Sharma holds a Ph.D. in Finance from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. He has completed his Bachelors of Technology (Mechanical) degree from the National Institute of Technology Trichy. He is a certified financial risk manager (FRM). Rajdeep has diverse work experience in both the public and the private sectors. Post MBA, he has worked for 6 years in the financial services industry, with roles spanning financial strategy and investment banking. His primary research interest is international finance, especially the dynamics of international capital flows in emerging markets. His other research interests are financial stability and empirical asset pricing. His research work has been presented at several reputed international and domestic conferences. Prior to SPJIMR, he was associated with Unitus Capital as a Senior Associate, Investment Banking.
