Anupama Gupta holds a Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, specialising in International Outbound Logistics. She has pursued her master’s from the National Institute of Fashion Technology. In her 20 years of overall experience, she worked in the apparel industry for 5 years before embarking on her journey into academics.
She is a faculty in Logistics and Supply Chain Management and holds a research interest in global value chains, global production networks, supplier relationship management, and product development. She has published research articles and book chapters and presented her research work at leading conferences.
She enthusiastically engages with the Textile and Apparel industry through MDPs and consulting projects on relevant areas such as quality management and compliance, apparel manufacturing, and vendor management. She leads critical administrative functions specific to academic accreditation and other academic programmes.
