Anupama Gupta holds a Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, specialising in international outbound logistics. She pursued her master’s degree from the National Institute of Fashion Technology. With 20 years of overall experience, she worked in the apparel industry for 5 years before embarking on her journey into academics.

She is a faculty in logistics and supply chain management and holds a research interest in global value chains, global production networks, supplier relationship management, and product development.

She enthusiastically engages with the textile and apparel industry through management development programmes (MDPs) and consulting projects on relevant areas such as quality management and compliance, apparel manufacturing, and vendor management.
