TaSIC 2026: Co-creating pathways towards net positive outcomes

Building on the success of its inaugural edition in 2025, TaSIC 2026 will focus on ‘Co-creating pathways towards net positive outcomes’. The conference will examine how businesses, consumers, society, and government can shift from simply minimising harm to actively creating positive impact. It will explore how the net positive approach can help businesses strengthen their long-term resilience by fostering innovation. Through a blend of theory and emerging real-world practices, the conference aims to identify practical pathways to collectively work towards net-positive futures.

TaSIC 2025 key highlights

Tracks and indicative themes

TaSIC 2026 invites submissions from traditional management disciplines as well as interdisciplinary perspectives, examining the interplay between technology, business decision-making, and sustainability outcomes to achieve positive societal impact. The conference will host four integrative Academic Tracks, each delving into how businesses navigate global challenges. The deliberations are expected to inform future research, focusing on actionable insights for practitioners to make responsible use of technology while considering its broader consequences.

Submissions are welcome in the form of empirical research papers, systematic literature reviews, and case studies across management and interdisciplinary domains, including, but not limited to, entrepreneurship, finance, marketing, operations, information management, digital transformation, logistics, strategy, policy, supply chains, and sustainability.

The tracks broadly encompass key functional areas of Marketing, Information Management (IM), Operations and Supply Chain Management (OSCM), Finance and People, Leadership and Society. The themes listed under each track are indicative only. We encourage submissions on any topic that fits with the broader theme of technology and societal impact.

  • Track 1: Marketing

  • Track 2: Information Management

  • Track 3: Operations and Supply Chain Management

  • Track 4: Finance

  • Track 5: People, Leadership and Society

Jointly, these tracks address the concerns, responsibilities, and expectations of four key stakeholder groups: consumers and communities, companies, non-governmental organisations (NGOs), and governments, with the macro-objective of exploring how technology can be harnessed for inclusive and sustainable impact.
