Tanvi Mankodi is a core faculty member in the area of organisation and leadership studies at SPJIMR. She holds a Ph.D. in Human Resource Management (HRM) from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM-A), with her doctoral research focusing on workplace incivility and its impact on HR systems.
Before joining academics in 2011, she had a brief corporate experience in HR roles, handling organisational development and change management roles in the corporate HR function of a public limited organisation. She has pursued her passion for teaching and has taught at leading management institutes and business schools in India.
Her research focuses on workplace incivility, workplace deviance, strategic human resource management, organisation culture, organisation theory, wisdom in leadership, and women entrepreneurship. She has facilitated several courses in the areas of strategic HRM, organisational behaviour, talent planning, labour law, international HRM, management development, and career planning.
