Sanidhy Singh Raghuwanshi (PGDM 2025–27) emerged as the National Champion at the 21st edition of the Tata Crucible Campus Quiz 2025–26. Organised by the Tata Group, the Tata Crucible Campus Quiz is India’s premier business quiz, bringing together some of the country’s brightest student minds to compete on business knowledge, current affairs, economics, entrepreneurship and corporate strategy.

The event witnessed more than 1.09 million registrations from over 40 cities across India. Participants advanced through a rigorous four-stage competition comprising the Preliminary Round, Cluster Finals, Zonal Finals and National Finals. Eight finalists qualified for the grand finale, representing leading institutions from across the country.

In a fiercely contested National Final, Sanidhy demonstrated exceptional business knowledge, speed and strategic thinking to emerge as the National Champion—the first from SPJIMR to achieve this distinction. He was presented with the coveted Tata Crucible Trophy, ₹2,50,000 in prize money and Taj vouchers by Aparna Ganesh, Chief Digital Officer at Tata Sons, and Harit Nagpal, Chief Executive Officer at Tata Play.

Reflecting on the achievement, Sanidhy said, “Winning Tata Crucible was a surreal experience, especially given the legacy and stature of the competition. Being part of SPJIMR’s first-ever Tata Crucible National Championship made the achievement even more special. It reinforced the importance of staying curious, preparing consistently, and remaining composed under pressure.”

Sanidhy acknowledged the role of SPJIMR’s learning environment in shaping his preparation. He noted, “The learning at SPJIMR extends well beyond the classroom. Engaging classroom discussions, diverse peer learning, and quizzing events organised under Trivialogy helped broaden my business awareness and kept me intellectually engaged. While the preparation wasn’t direct, the ecosystem certainly played an important role in building the knowledge base and confidence needed for a competition of this scale.”

Sanidhy’s achievement reflects how learning at SPJIMR extends beyond the classroom, with peer learning, student-led initiatives and co-curricular engagements complementing academic rigour and supporting holistic development.
