    The Start Your Business (SYB) programme is a four-month weekend programme delivered in a hybrid format. Most sessions are online, while selected sessions are held on campus at SPJIMR, Mumbai.

  • Does SPJIMR provide study material for the SYB programme?

    Yes. Each module includes comprehensive learning resources, including study material, reference material, recommended readings, and faculty presentations.

  • How many participants have launched their ventures?

    More than 120 participants from the SYB programme have successfully launched their ventures.

  • Can you provide references for participants who have attended the SYB programme?

    Yes.

  • Do I receive placement support after completing the programme?

    No.

    The Start Your Business (SYB) programme is designed to help participants build and grow their own ventures rather than prepare for traditional employment.

  • Are the fees refunded if I decide to drop out of the programme?

    The Start Your Business (SYB) programme is delivered by a combination of experienced SPJIMR faculty and accomplished industry practitioners.

    SPJIMR faculty bring extensive experience in entrepreneurship and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).     No.

    The programme focuses on practical application rather than examinations.

    Participants are expected to apply classroom concepts to their ventures through presentations and discussions conducted throughout the programme.

  • Will I get a diploma after completing the SYB programme at SPJIMR?

    On successful completion of the programme, participants receive a Certificate of Participation from SPJIMR.

    Please note that all programme requirements, including the minimum attendance requirement of 75%, must be fulfilled.

  • Is the programme duration too short to meet the programme objectives?

  • I have completed all admission formalities for the current batch but cannot attend the current batch. Can I defer my admission to the next batch?

    No.

    The SYB programme does not permit deferment from one batch to another under any circumstances.

    As this is a high-intensity programme, participants are expected to commit fully to the batch in which they enrol.
