About SIA

Social Impact Awards (SIA) is an initiative of SPJIMR’s Development of Corporate Citizenship (DoCC). It is a platform for recognising exemplary contributions made by social enterprises and social sector organisations to society. It was founded in 2006 and has since grown in scope, bringing together thought leaders from the corporate, academic, and social sectors to assess the impact of participating organisations.

Objectives

  • To identify and recognise exemplary work by social organisations across the county that are making impact on the society
  • To provide a platform for multi-stakeholder projects to showcase themselves and get recognised at the national level

How to participate?

  • Step I: Register your organisation using a valid email address
  • Step II: DoCC will email you the application form to the registered email address
  • Step III: Complete the application form with all details
  • Step IV: E-mail the application form to sia@spjimr.org

Process and timeline

  • Step I | Call for Entries

    Organisations across India fill the application form to nominate themselves for participation.

  • Step II | Due Diligence

    DoCC screens the application, conducts due diligence and selects the qualifying entries.

  • Step III | Shortlisting of Organisations

    Qualifying nominations are evaluated online by a panel of experts which selects best organisations from each sector award

  • Step IV | Jury Round

    Jury members select 1 winner from each award category

  • Step 5 | Award Ceremony

    Winners are felicitated in an award function attended by members from the industry, academia, corporate and social sector
