SPJIMR’s DoCC organises the Social Impact Awards (SIA) to recognise social enterprises and organisations for their exceptional contributions to society. Since its launch in 2006, SIA has grown to include experts from various sectors who evaluate participants’ impact.
To identify and recognise exemplary work by social organisations across the county that are making impact on the society.
To provide a platform for multi-stakeholder projects to showcase themselves and get recognised at the national level.

Rajendra Singh is a well-known environmentalist and water conservationist often referred to as "The Water Man of India." He has dedicated his life to water conservation efforts, reviving traditional water management techniques, and raising awareness about the importance of preserving water resources. He has received numerous awards for his work, including the Ramon Magsaysay Award and the Stockholm Water Prize. He is the Chairman of organization named Tarun Bharat Sangh and has been involved in various grassroots movements focused on water conservation and community development.
