Programme Overview

The turbulent world of today calls for leadership and effective management from people across levels in organisations. It is critical for organisations to build a reservoir of talent that will continue to steer the organisation and ensure continuing organisational success and effectiveness. This workshop is designed to orient potential or emerging leaders to take on or more effectively execute leadership and managerial responsibilities. It will provide participants gain a head-start or a boost to take on leadership roles at middle and senior levels in their organisations.

Objectives

Programme Directors

Keith C. D'souza

Honorary Visiting Faculty, Organisation & Leadership Studies

Keith D’souza has been associated with SPJIMR since 2007 as a professor of Organisational Behavior and HRM as well as People and Performance Area. He has thirty-eight years of experience in academic teaching and administration, research and consulting in management and human resource development. He has held several management positions in the corporate sector, including Director, Human Touch HR and OD Services.

Mihir Ajgaonkar

Associate Professor, Organisation & Leadership Studies

Mihir Ajgaonkar has obtained a Ph.D. from the Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, with a focus on Organizational Citizenship Behavior. He has completed Certification in Intervention for Strategic HRM & Change, from Ross Business School, University of Michigan.

He holds a professional experience of 36 years, with 28 years in the industry and 8 years in academics.  During his career in the industry, he led senior HR roles in eminent organizations within the hospitality, IT and Consulting, Construction Equipment, Financial Services, Heavy Engineering, Defense, and Power sectors.
