Ganesh is an entrepreneur and seasoned investor with over two decades of experience in the start-up ecosystem. He is a co-founder and Managing Partner of Quona Capital, where he leads the firm’s India and Southeast Asia investment strategy. Quona Capital is the first global emerging markets-only venture capital fund that focuses on fintech and finance-related sectors.
Before co-founding Quona, Ganesh led Accion Frontier Investments’ Asian operations. Prior to that, Ganesh was a General Partner at Lok Capital, a leading impact growth fund focused on financial inclusion and social enterprises. He previously helped start the India/Asia efforts of Greylock Partners, a leading Silicon Valley-based venture capital fund. He co-founded Travelguru.com, which was subsequently acquired by Travelocity.
Ganesh often speaks at global industry events such as the Singapore Fintech Festival, Asia Investment Conference, SuperReturn, Global Impact Investing Network (GIIN), Global Fintech Festival, India-China Fintech Summit, LendIt etc. Ganesh’s exits include IndiaMart (IPO), Coins.ph (Go-Jek), and Shubham (Premji Invest). Ganesh’s current and previous investment and entrepreneurial advising responsibilities include Village Capital, TiE Global, Accion Venture Lab, GSF Accelerator, and IIM-Ahmedabad.
