Sumit Rungta is a banker turned entrepreneur and one of the co-founders of Invoice Bazaar, a Dubai-based Fintech that provides Trade Finance solutions to SME businesses. He has over a decade of experience in the finance industry and has also worked at Citibank in Transaction Banking across India and UAE.
Invoice Bazaar raised several rounds of Equity & Debt funding from investors and also won the MENA Fintech of the year award at FinTech Abu Dhabi in 2019, the most prestigious fintech event in the region. Invoice Bazaar was recently acquired by Triterras Inc, a Nasdaq listed Fintech, based out of Singapore.
Sumit has experience across Trade Finance, SME Lending, B2B Payments & Embedded Finance. He is also an alumnus of SP Jain Institute of Management & Research, Mumbai. He is committed to supporting the growth and development of the fintech industry in the Middle East and actively involved in promoting entrepreneurship and innovation.
