  • What are the eligibility criteria for the programme?

    A candidate applying for the PGPDM:

    • Should be a graduate (in any discipline) from a recognised institution/university
    • Should have a minimum of two years of relevant work experience
    • Should have basic proficiency in computers and comfortable with English as it is the medium of instruction
  • What is the programme fee?

    The programme is subsidised since it is part of our institute’s social commitment and, therefore, affordable and feasible for working people.

    Scholarships are available for low-income deserving candidates.

    I. Participants sponsored by corporates / international NGOs and high-income candidates:

    ₹ 3,00,000 (Three lakh only) + GST as applicable.

    Payment terms: In advance – 2 options

    • Full payment ₹ 3,00,000 + GST as applicable
    • Term-wise payment: ₹ 1,00,000 + GST as applicable x 3 Terms

    II. Participants from NGOs or those who are self-sponsored

    ₹ 1,50,000 (One lakh fifty thousand only) + GST as applicable.

    Payment terms: In advance – 3 options

    • Full payment ₹ 1,50,000 + GST as applicable
    • Term-wise payment: ₹ 50,000 + GST as applicable x 3 Terms
    • Equal Monthly Instalments (EMI) – ₹ 16,100 per month for 11 months. First, EMI payment will have to be made for the confirmation of admission and for the remaining 10 EMIs, post-dated cheques will have to be submitted on the day of reporting.

    III. Discount in fee

    • For two or more persons joining from the same NGO, a concession of ₹ 10,000/- per candidate will be provided.
  • Is it a residential programme?

    The programme is modular and enables participants to continue working at their current organisations. Delivered over six contact periods of two weeks each, only the first, third and last contacts held on SPJIMR’s Mumbai campus are residential. The remaining four contacts are delivered online. For online contacts, sessions are held after lunch on weekdays and the entire day on Sundays.

  • Is it necessary to have work experience to apply for the programme?

    Yes, the applicant should have at least two years of work experience in the social sector. Those who do not work in the social sector while applying but intend to transition to the social sector should have a minimum of two years of experience in any sector and, most importantly, a passion for working in the social sector and skills which can be transferred to the social sector. 

  • When does the application process begin?

    In January for the summer batch and in July for the winter batch.

  • When is the last date to submit the form?

  • How do I pay my application fees?

    Application fees need to be paid online. 

  • During online payment the amount was deducted from my bank account but the transaction id was not generated and I am not able to submit the form. What should I do?

    Please contact PGPDM office via email or phone number. We will help you. 

  • How will I come to know about the status of my application?

    Those candidates who get shortlisted for the interview and get selected after the interview will receive email, message and if required, telephonic communication from SPJIMR. There will be no further communication with regard to status of the application and reasons for non-shortlisting or non-selection with those who do not get shortlisted for the interview or are not selected after the interview.

  • When do I need to submit the documents to support the data I have filled in the form?

    You are required to show/submit the documents on the day of reporting at the SPJIMR Mumbai campus.
