Beta Start is CFBE’s flagship Pitch Day event, aimed at empowering and accelerating the growth of upcoming seed/pre-seed stage start-ups by providing them with a platform to showcase their innovative ideas to investors, industry experts, and other stakeholders. The event not only promotes innovation but also fosters connections between start-ups and investors, opening doors to potential funding opportunities. Additionally, selected start-ups benefit from extensive training and mentorship sessions from industry experts, refining their business models and pitch presentations.

By participating in Beta Start, start-ups gain exposure and recognition in the entrepreneurial ecosystem, validating their concepts and attracting further attention from investors and potential clients. This prestigious event has forged valuable partnerships with leading organisations, offering start-ups an unparalleled networking platform for mutual growth and collaboration. Beta Start is a biannual event. In 2023, Beta Start 1.0 was organised in January and concluded successfully with the Demo Day event in February 2023. The event witnessed 100+ registrations leading to 15 start-ups racing for the winner title.
