Power Talk session by Prof. Snehal Shah at RBI Symposium

SPJIMR, Associate Dean, Academics & Research, Prof. Snehal Shah, was invited to speak at the Power Talk session during the Symposium for Chairmen of RRBs hosted by the Reserve Bank of India.

She shared valuable insights on “Organizational Repositioning in Regional Rural Banks: Upskilling, Adaptation, and Reorientation” at the symposium on strengthening financial sustainability and operational viability of RRBs. Prof. Shah provided an academician’s perspective on adapting to new paradigms, nudging desired behaviour, developing a learning and upskilling culture, and addressing challenges.

The symposium, with its theme “Towards Financially Sustainable and Operationally Viable RRBs through Innovation, Recalibration, and Leapfrogging”, provided RRB Chairmen with a platform to discuss sector transformation and chart a way forward. It fostered meaningful conversations on approaches to achieve viability plan targets and facilitated interactions with senior-level officials from RBI and NABARD to address emerging challenges and explore opportunities.
