About TaSIC 2026

Technology and Societal Impact Conference 2026

TaSIC 2026 brought together international scholars, business leaders, entrepreneurs and practitioners to examine a defining challenge for organisations in fast-growing markets: how can businesses meet rising consumer aspirations while ensuring that growth remains responsible, inclusive and sustainable?

Hosted by SPJIMR in February 2026, the second edition of TaSIC explored the tension between accelerating consumption and the social, environmental and economic consequences that can accompany growth. Through academic perspectives, industry cases, panel discussions and a hands-on Design Sprint, the conference examined how businesses can rethink innovation to create value for consumers while strengthening the systems that support responsible growth.

With more than 200 participants, including international academic speakers and industry leaders, TaSIC 2026 extended the conversation from wiser consumption to wiser innovation: asking not only how consumers can make better choices, but also how organisations can design products, services, business models and systems that make responsible choices easier and more viable at scale.
