SPJIMR hosts 8th PRME Asia Forum

SPJIMR’s Development of Corporate Citizenship (DoCC) hosted the 8th PRME Asia Forum in Mumbai, bringing together educators, researchers, corporate leaders, policymakers, and civil society practitioners from across the Asia-Pacific region to advance responsible management education.

Centred around the theme ‘Sustainable Futures: Partnering in Responsible Management Education’, the Forum explored how business schools can prepare leaders to address complex social, environmental, and economic challenges. Discussions focused on sustainability, responsible leadership, diversity, inclusion, peace, and innovative pedagogies that strengthen the relationship between management education and society.

Objectives

  • To bring together advocates of responsible citizenship, management and leadership from universities, corporates, civil society and management institutions across the Asia- Pacific region.
  • To influence research, theory and practices in the domain of education, pedagogy, conscious capitalism and sustainability.

Outcomes

  • Create a network of scholars working in the domain.
  • Creating awareness of best practices in the domain
  • To publish selected papers from the proceedings of the forum by reputed journals and publishers

As host, DoCC reaffirmed SPJIMR’s commitment to creating spaces for dialogue and collective learning that connect academia, industry, and civil society. The Forum reflected DoCC’s larger vision of fostering responsible leadership through collaboration, knowledge exchange, and meaningful engagement with society.
