Bhavan’s SPJIMR Centre for Financial Studies and Abhyudaya, SPJIMR’s non-classroom initiative, conducted a financial planning panel discussion for teachers and principals of municipal and aided schools of K-West Ward.
The panel, moderated by Head of Abhyudaya, Prof Deepa Krishnan, included:
Dr Vidhu Shekhar, Associate Head at Centre for Financial Studies; Ms Alpa Shah, Social Entrepreneur, Author and Finance Professional and Mr Iqbal Mehdi, Assist. Vice President, Axis Bank.
In an interactive session, the panel discussed current economic trends in India, state of the banking system, and suggestions for prudent financial planning. The meeting was attended by 40 teachers and principals from the neighboring schools, who play a key role as influencers in the community.
