Samavesh 2017 witnessed several industry leaders participating in panel discussions in five conclaves, namely, Consulting Conclave, Information Management Conclave, Finance Conclave, Operations Conclave and Marketing Conclave. Discussions in each conclave brought fresh perspectives about the emerging disruptive trends in the evolving business environment. This interactive event cleared many myths in the minds of students, updated their knowledge and invigorated them to focus on certain critical aspects of management. A large number of innovative big-ticket ideas also surfaced, with insights about the next decade.     Samavesh 2017 opened with Consulting Conclave around the theme ‘How can Consulting Firms Help Organisations Manage Change in an Era of Constant Disruption?’ which discussed how consulting firms are helping organisations prepare themselves to handle the dynamic business environment.

    The Information Management Conclave explored the various dimensions of the theme ‘Businesses in the Era of Digital Economy and Path Breaking Technologies’ and shared insights about how enterprises adapt to transformation and associated challenges. How critical will it be to build capabilities and talent? Can the Digital Economy aid in increasing the combined GDP of a nation?

  • The Finance Conclave

    The topic for the Finance Conclave, was ‘FinTech – An Alternative to Banks?’. The Finance Conclave at Samavesh 2017, answered the following questions: How are the enterprises adapting to transformation and associated challenges? How critical will it be to build capabilities and talent? Can the Digital Economy aid in increasing the combined GDP of a nation?

  • The Operations & Supply Chain Conclave

    The Operations & Supply Chain conclave around the theme: ‘Managing Supply Chain for Sustainability and Agility in the Digital World’, discussed aspects of how organisations are transitioning from experience-based strategies to agile strategies with a high level of demand sensing technologies and decision algorithms.
