SPJIMR bid farewell to the Global Management Programme (GMP) batch 21 as participants embarked on the next phase of their academic journey at SPJIMR’s partner international business schools to complete their MBA/MS degrees. The farewell ceremony brought together reflections, emotions, and shared moments, as participants captured moments to preserve memories of their time on campus.
The event opened with an address by Prof. Milind Kamat, Chairperson, Global Management Programme, who spoke to the graduating cohort with warmth and insight. He reminded participants that while their destination still lies ahead, the lessons they’ve gathered have prepared them well, both inside and outside the classroom. Acknowledging the challenges and triumphs they experienced, he encouraged them to embrace resilience and adaptability: “Remember, when obstacles arise, you must learn, adapt, and rise stronger. These past six months have been a foundation. Now, step forward with confidence and make your mark in new ways.”
He also spoke about the true essence of success and the strength of staying connected: “Success is not just reaching a destination; it’s the path you take to get there. And you won’t walk it alone. If you ever need guidance, reach out. Stay connected. We’re here for you, whether through a message or a call. No challenge is too difficult when we face it together.”
Following the address, each student took the opportunity to reflect on their academic journey, sharing personal stories and memorable experiences. “SPJIMR gave me case wars, midnight deadlines, and lifelong friends—learning has never looked this real,” said Anviti Pant, GMP Batch 21 participant. “I got the tools to thrive, but more importantly, the people I met made it all worthwhile. As we scatter across the globe, this goodbye feels heavier than expected,” reflected Rahul Phogat, GMP Batch 21 participant.
The ceremony concluded with the formal distribution of certificates marking both an end and a beginning, as GMP batch 21 embarks on the next chapter of their professional and personal growth. Their journey now takes them across continents, as they join our partners—EBS Business School (Germany), Stevens Business School (USA), and USC Marshall (USA)—to continue their education and expand their global perspective.
SPJIMR’s Global Management Programme (GMP) partners with top-ranked management institutes across Europe, the UK, the USA and Canada to offer full-time international management (MBA/MS) programmes.
