Felicitation ceremony | PGDM and PGDM (BM) Class of 2026

December 18, 2025

SPJIMR came together to honour academic excellence and celebrate a significant milestone in the journey of the PGDM and PGDM (BM) Class of 2026.

The Felicitation ceremony recognised the ‘Area Top 5’ achievers from the PGDM programme and the ‘Focus Area Top 2’ achievers from the PGDM (BM), applauding their consistent dedication, discipline, and pursuit of excellence. The immersive experiences, previously known as non-classroom learning (NCL) toppers, were also awarded, reminding us that leadership is not only about performance but also about values, collaboration, and character.

Reflecting on the learning experiences beyond the classroom, one participant shared:

SPJIMR gave me more than classroom learning—it shaped perspectives that will stay with me for life. Beyond academics, experiences like Abhyudaya taught me gratitude and the responsibility to give back.

— Sagar Nagrani, PGDM (BM) 2024–26

The evening was not just about accolades; it was also a moment of celebration and reflection as the batch prepares to embark on their international immersion, marking the transition from classroom learning to global exposure.

Reflecting on their journey with the batch at SPJIMR, faculty members shared thoughtful messages and moments that made the occasion both meaningful and memorable.

Prof. Renuka Kamath, Associate Dean, Full-time programmes and Professor of Marketing, acknowledged the collective effort of the batch and emphasised the importance of moving forward with clarity of thought, care for others, and conviction in one’s values, qualities that will continue to guide them in their professional and personal lives.

Adding a creative and engaging dimension to the ceremony, the programme leadership team, including professors Ashita Aggrawal, Ajinkya Navare, and Sajit Matthews, performed a skit that resonated deeply with the audience. Through humour and insight, the skit served as a powerful reminder that strong learning ecosystems are built on empathy, sustained effort, mutual respect, and teamwork.

Sharing the spirit of community and collective growth, a participant reflected:

What began as small friend groups checking in soon became an entire batch standing up for one another. This place gave us more than a degree. It gave us people.

— Abhiram Ramanathan, PGDM 2024–26

Prof. Vinay Goyal, Department Chair of Finance, congratulated the batch on successfully completing an important phase of their academic journey and encouraged them to apply their learning with confidence and integrity.

Prof. Jyoti Jagasia, Department Chair of Information Management and Analytics, urged the participants to stay focused, enjoy their work, avoid unnecessary stress, and prioritise happiness as they progress in their careers.

Reinforcing the institute’s enduring bond with its students, Prof. Nilendra Singh Pawar, Department Chair of Operations, Supply Chain and Quantitative Methods, reminded the batch that SPJIMR will always remain a source of support. He encouraged them to return to the institute whenever they need guidance, collaboration, or assistance in the future.

As our participants step into the next phase of their journey, we wish them impactful experiences, perspectives, and continued success.
