About
Ehsaas—The Mela is an annual event organised by the Development of Corporate Citizenship (DoCC) at SPJIMR, providing a platform for social enterprises, social organisations, farmer-producer organisations (FPOs), self-help groups (SHGs), and other micro-entrepreneurs to showcase their work and products. The event promotes collaboration, capacity building, and knowledge sharing among the underserved stakeholders. It serves as a vital forum for strengthening entrepreneurial ecosystems, empowering communities and contributing to social impact. Ehsaas aimed to establish long-term relationships between participants, scale up their ventures, and address systemic issues in agriculture, entrepreneurship, and sustainability.
Event highlights
Mela exhibition
Ehsaas 2025 hosted over 70 FPOs, SHGs, social organisations, and micro-entrepreneurs from across India, offering expanded visibility, collaborations and networking opportunities. Following the successful inclusion of microentrepreneurs from the transgender community last year, the 2025 edition saw increased participation from the community, making it an even more inclusive event.
Capacity-building sessions
Ehsaas engaged with the underserved stakeholders through knowledge-sharing sessions on policymaking, legal compliance, financial linkages, business linkages, and government schemes. These sessions focused on industry insights and updates, challenges, solutions, and best practices to address the concerns of participating farmers, FPOs, SHGs, and social organisations.
Engagement activities
The Mela also featured entertaining activities, including cultural performances, interactive games, and food stalls, creating a vibrant and engaging atmosphere that kept the audience entertained and involved.
