Placement

The campus recruitment process for PGPM is managed by the placements team, which follows a rolling placement system for over four months from September to December. The recruitment process begins with Pre-Placement Talks (PPT) by recruiters for the students. PGPM has a consistent track record of strong placements, with an increasing number of companies recruiting from various industries and sectors every year. In the Class of 2023-24, PGPM participants witnessed a remarkable average hike of 104.03% in their compensation packages. The top 25% of the batch received an average CTC of INR 30.31 lakhs, while the top 50% received INR 26.30 lakhs.

Curriculum

The PGPM curriculum comprises 15 months of in-class learning, followed by a three-month industry immersion. PGPM provides a solid foundation in management fundamentals in the first phase, followed by a deep dive into a chosen area of specialisation in the second phase. The programme offers a wide range of electives and strong academic rigour.

Majors

PGPM participants can specialise in business analytics, finance, general management, information management, marketing, and operations & supply chain. To major in a particular area of specialisation, participants are required to complete at least eight credits, including five compulsory courses offered in Phase I/III and elective courses that can be taken in Phase II/III. For instance, an IM participant would earn five credits toward the five core courses offered by the IM area in Phase I, and three more courses would have to be taken (offered in Phase II and Phase III in the IM area) to get a major in IM.

Admission process

PGPM follows a rolling interview process, offering exceptional candidates admission even before the official closing date of admissions. This process allows for a seamless transition from a full-time job to a full-time management programme. PGPM seeks individuals who have a consistent academic record, relevant professional experience, versatile achievements, and diverse interests and who are committed to making positive changes in their career paths.

Eligibility criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in any discipline from a recognised university.
  • Minimum three years of relevant work experience at the time of commencement of the programme.
  • GMAT/CAT scores accepted.
  • Scores for GMAT taken between September 30, 2020 and September 30, 2025.
  • CAT scores for years 2022, 2023 and 2024.
  • GMAT scores have to be submitted through GMAC
  • GMAT scores can be submitted by September – October.
