SPJIMR’s Post Graduate Management Programme for Women (PGMPW) is the world’s first full-time general management programme, crafted exclusively for women who took a career break and now seek to return to a full-time professional role. PGMPW is designed to accelerate participants’ return to a corporate position in leadership roles. The key differentiators of the programme are its unique design, intensive curriculum and wide-ranging industry partnerships. The all-women PGMPW class has participants who are inspired, perseverant and ready to make a mark as they return to take up leadership positions in the corporate world. PGMPW participants help corporates add to their leadership pipeline, make it more diverse and enable businesses to draw from the varied experience that returning women bring to the workplace. PGMPW collaborates with the public sector and the government to champion and celebrate a plural, social definition of success and leadership which will acknowledge and reward the managerial roles played by women across multiple sectors of society.
From Batch 2024, the Post Graduate Management Programme for Women (PGMPW) will be integrated with the Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM). If you are a woman with a career break, we encourage you to apply through the “Restart” initiative of PGPM.
The goal of PGMPW is to assist women who have taken a career break in re-entering the workforce and mitigating the impact of their absence from the professional world. The programme helps women realise and achieve their leadership potential, and it works with the industry to create a strong pipeline of female managers and leaders. The programme is aligned with the following competency goals:
PGMPW is offered from SPJIMR campus situated in Mumbai, the financial capital and cultural hub of India. This offers an immersive learning experience and facilitates a rich industry interface.
