Recognition for creating Green Gold

We are thrilled to share that SPJIMR was honoured with a certificate of achievement for its exceptional dedication to kitchen waste composting, proficient waste management, and significant contributions to sustainability. The recognition bestowed by RUR Green Life Pvt. Ltd. acknowledged SPJIMR’s remarkable success in proper waste collection, aerobic composting, and dry waste linkages.
These charts highlight the commendable efforts of the entire SPJIMR community in creating Green Gold compost from waste.
SPJIMR spearheaded the waste management project launched in 2023 across Bhavan’s Andheri Campus, catering to all five institutes including Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Sardar Patel College of Engineering, Bhavan’s College (M. M. College of Arts, N. M. Institute of Science, H. R. J. College of Commerce), Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s A. H. Wadia High School and Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Sardar Patel Institute of Technology.
The project, sponsored by HT Parekh Foundation CSR grants, aims to promote sustainability and improve knowledge and awareness of waste segregation, composting, and waste management in Mumbai. Project partners include Ekonnect Knowledge Foundation and RUR Green Life Pvt. Ltd.
