Thanks to the lunar eclipse on March 3, 2026, and India’s deep-rooted traditions around grahan, the SPJIMR community had the chance to celebrate Holi twice, on March 2 and March 4. And celebrate it did!
The campus burst into life with colour, laughter and festive cheer as participants, faculty and professionals from across programmes came together. For a while, the busy rhythms of academic and professional life stepped aside, making room for something simpler, people meeting people beyond emails and WhatsApp workgroups.
Colleagues played with colours, danced to lively music and soaked in the unmistakable energy that only Holi can bring. The air carried more than just gulal; it carried warmth, camaraderie and the easy joy of shared moments.
The celebrations flowed naturally into the customary Holi special treat, where conversations lingered, and smiles stayed a little longer. Over food and laughter, the community continued what the colours had begun — connecting beyond roles and routines.
Organised annually by the HR team, Holi at SPJIMR is always more than a splash of colour. It reinforces the value of togetherness in building a positive and inclusive workplace culture. Moments like these remind us that when people pause to celebrate with one another, they strengthen not just relationships but the very fabric of the organisation.
