The SPJIMR Centre for Family Business and Entrepreneurship (CFBE) recently hosted the tenth edition of its Research Presentation Series, featuring Dr. Ana González, Director of the Family-Owned Business Institute and Associate Professor of Management at the Seidman College of Business, Grand Valley State University (GVSU).
Her presentation, titled ‘Leadership Styles and Entrepreneurial Orientation: A Cross-Cultural Analysis in Family Businesses’, examined how leadership styles relate to entrepreneurial orientation in family businesses across different cultural contexts. Dr. González explained the links between leadership behaviours, family business structures, and entrepreneurial choices, and discussed how these factors shape decision-making in family enterprises.
The session included meaningful discussions and offered participants clear insights into leadership and entrepreneurial patterns within family business settings.
