We are pleased to announce that Mr. Saswata Biswas, alumnus of the SPJIMR Global Management Programme (GMP), has been recognised as one of the winners of the 2025 Product Manager (PM) Awards. Presented by Products That Count, a global nonprofit organisation supporting product professionals, the PM Awards honour emerging leaders who exemplify excellence in product management and demonstrate the potential to shape the future of the discipline.

Commenting on the accolade, Saswata stated, “I am truly honoured to be acknowledged alongside such accomplished peers, many of whom have inspired and influenced my professional journey.” He credited SPJIMR’s GMP as a transformative phase in launching his global career. The opportunity to study with a diverse cohort and engage with international faculty equipped him with a broader worldview and adaptability, competencies that are critical in today’s interconnected business environment. He also highlighted the enduring value of the strong alumni network and the continued support from the GMP community.

Saswata transitioned from GMP to complete his MS in Finance with SPJIMR’s EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht, in Germany. He emphasised the significant exposure he gained to international corporate settings, where he learnt to navigate environments in which research, particularly in finance and technology, plays a pivotal role.

Offering guidance to current and prospective participants of the GMP, he encouraged them to actively build meaningful connections and make the most of learning opportunities with SPJIMR’s faculty. He further advised students to maintain lifelong relationships with their professors, noting that each interaction provides invaluable insights and lessons for navigating real-world challenges.
