Rahul Singh

Assistant Professor, Economics and Policy

Prof. Rahul Singh is an applied microeconomist with research interests in international trade, industrial policy, innovation policy, and development economics. His work examines how import competition, fiscal incentives for innovation, and government regulations in product and factor markets impact firm performance, innovation, productivity, resource allocation, and labour market outcomes. His research has been published in leading journals, including the Journal of International Economics, The Journal of Law and Economics, The World Bank Economic Review, and Oxford Bulletin of Economics and Statistics. Rahul received his Ph.D. in Economics and Social Sciences from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore in 2020, and his doctoral dissertation was awarded the BRICS Economic Research Annual Citation in 2021.
