This latest batch of PGPDM represents a significant milestone for SPJIMR, as it marks the institution’s first cohort for the 2024 academic year. Notably, it stands as one of the largest batches to date, comprising 41 social sector practitioners and from across 16 Indian states. The diversity within the cohort is evident in its representation of various sectors, including agriculture, sustainable livelihoods, education, healthcare, and empowerment of women and marginalized communities, among others. Participants boast a rich spectrum of work experience, ranging from a minimum of 3 years to over 20 years.

Reflecting on the diversity and calibre of the incoming batch, Programme Chairperson, Prof. Tanojkumar Meshram commended the aspirants for choosing SPJIMR, an institution renowned for its commitment to socially responsible management education. “I am delighted to witness the diverse composition of our 23rd PGPDM batch, with participants joining us from various states and industries. Their presence underscores SPJIMR’s ethos of fostering inclusive and socially impactful leadership in the development sector. The event concluded with the keynote address from Dr Pallavi Darade, IRS (Indian Revenue Services), Commissioner of Income Tax, Mumbai, who complimented SPJIMR’s efforts in building social infrastructure and capacity in the social sector.
